Mission: provide a community-based location where underprivileged widows and their children can easily and safely have access to basic education and vocational training skills.

Tailor Apprenticeship Program

Each participant is sponsored for $30/month.
The sponsorship includes:

Salary For Master Tailor
Salary For Apprentice Tailor
Sewing Machines

Supplies
Daily Food For Apprentice

Progress: HFA is sponsoring two teenage boys from poor families and whose mothers are widows for the Tailor Apprenticeship.

Mission: The HFA 1-1 Tailor Apprenticeship Program is a project that consists of a six-month tailor training program as well as business management skills. Upon completion of the program, the participant will be able to continue working with the Master Tailor, open a tailoring business in his or her home or be a sewing teacher. Each program graduate will be given a sewing machine, table, and supplies to start his/her business.
